Hello there again! It’s Jillian here, wrapping up this fall One Room Challenge. Thanks for patiently waiting for the reveal, as an extra week was added to accommodate some of the participants’ delays due to the recent natural disasters. This is my third time as a guest participant in the One Room Challenge (ORC) and I am thrilled and grateful to have completed these beautiful rooms. If you are new to this blog, I have been slowly making over my 1940 brick colonial home for six years and blogging about it for one. Be sure to check out my first ORC makeover of my guest bedroom, and my second ORC makeover of daughter’s adorable room. And now, we have (drum roll please) The Brick Nests HQ reveal!
But first here’s a recap of the work I’ve done before I overload you with gorgeous photographs of this office space!
Here’s just a quick glimpse of a before and after photo of the same corner of the room to show you just how far we’ve come from the starting point!
That doesn’t even look like the same room! I am blown away by this HQ transformation. During the bonus week I showed you another corner with the leather chair when you first walk into the room (see below). I am going to take you on a tour of this room corner by corner to give you the lay of the land. Here is the first corner with the bookshelves along the whole back wall.
Moving on over to desk space #1, which I created out of old antique work table that I have maxed out with all sorts of office decor!
The Brick Nests HQ reveal tour continues over to a comfy glider chair that is the perfect spot to sit and read by myself or with the kids. The pillow fabric was the starting point for the color scheme for this office–bright and colorful!
Now on to desk space #2, in the form of a lovely antique secretary. I have decorated the heck out of it, but even on its own, it is a beautiful and super functional piece of furniture that I have used all around the house.
I don’t want this HQ reveal tour to end, but the next corner we’ll explore brings us to the last and final stop on this ORC journey! This corner includes the bright coral table peaking out in this photo above. Our last stop is going to be a good (and bright) one!
Thanks to Calling it Home for hosting this biannual event. Check the featured designers’ reveals and the guest participants’ reveals (like mine) here.
