Hello, all! It’s Jillian here with some Thanksgiving table inspiration thanks to this beautiful table runner. We are lucky that some of my husband’s family lives in Nantucket, which means we always spend time there in the summer. And usually in return we have them visit us for some portion of the winter holidays. For my Thanksgiving table I was motivated by this Nantucket table runner that my friend Erin, who owns the online shop Navy Bleu, gifted to me.

This table runner really feels so very Nantucket, with its simple elegant design and texture. I was planning to host Thanksgiving this year with this table setting design, and then we had this giant tree fall on our roof–YIKES! Our plans may need to change…
No one was hurt, thankfully, and insurance and my contractors are all moving along, so I will be sure to update you all on that progress soon. So even if Thanksgiving has to be moved to a different location this year, this table runner is so versatile that I know I’ll be pulling it out often to dress up my table when I’m entertaining.
Here are some more pictures to provide additional inspiration for your Thanksgiving table.
The table runner has a beautiful herringbone texture that is much more pronounced than is evident from the photos. Therefore, I kept the table settings simple with these ivory-colored dishes and blue glassware, with a pop of brass from two vintage candlesticks. Of course, I added a large dose of white hydrangeas to complete the Nantucket look.
Be sure to check out Navy Bleu for their small beautiful collection of home decor and their larger selection of amazing boutique clothing! Also, be sure to check out our recent Decor Coaching project, where just like with the mostly neutral palette of this table settling, it’s gorgeous neutrals and textures for the win again!
Happy Thanksgiving to you all! We are thankful for all our readers near and far. Feel free to peruse some of our past Thanksgiving table posts for more ideas here and here. A special thanks to Navy Bleu for collaborating with us! Cheers!
