Well, another over-scheduled week has been completed, and before the next crazy week begins, I wanted to squeeze in a quick before-and-after blog post. We all live such busy lives these days, bouncing from one activity to the next, that the idea of a family room that is calm and peaceful seems so appealing. While you know we love color and pattern here at The Brick Nests, sometimes we need to go with soft, neutral colors and restrained patterns to achieve a particular mood. In this decor coaching project, our client looked to us to help her create a updated white-and-neutral family room, and the result is fresh and serene. Let’s get right to some before photos.

Our client loves light neutral colors, but wanted to give the space a brighter, crisp palette, as well as change out the chairs for new pieces with clean and modern lines. We let the pattern of the new stunning cream and charcoal rug to do all the talking, and to complement it, we chose accessories and accent pieces with simple but special detailing. Finally we picked a beautiful woven leather desk chair to spark new life into a cute office-corner of the room. And now for the after pictures!
I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing our latest room transformation! If you have a decorating project and are interested in learning more about our decor coaching services, we would love for you to contact us! Have a great week!
